About Our Pastor
Dr. Simone Michele Duplessis-Franklin, Th.D., was born to the former Mother Velma Picquet Duplessis and Bro. Antione Duplessis, Sr., raised in a small town called Phoenix, located in Plaquemines Parish in the state of Louisiana. She is the eighth child of nine children (seven girls and two boys). She is a graduate of Phoenix High School, home of the Spartans. On May 21, 2021, she wedded her elementary school classmate Deacon Lional Franklin, they share a total of five blended children. She has one daughter in law. She has pastored a total of 277 members.

Little did she know she was going to be involved in the 21st Century Church Movement, where she impacted the lives of many while standing on the belief that God called, equipped, and ordain women to the fivefold ministry (Ephesian 4:11-12). “And He gave some, apostles, and some, prophets, and some, evangelists, and some, pastors, and teachers, For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ” (KJV).

After the Late Pastor John Alvin Russ passed, she became the Transitional/Interim Pastor of Macedonia Missionary BC, 2810 Erato St., New Orleans East bank, from May 2022-July 2024, until the unveiling of the pastoral seat of the 102-year-old church selected and installed their new pastor Rev. Robert Beard.
